bonfireBonfire & Fireworks event is a medium sized event, delivered by volunteers from 105th Sheffield (High Green) Scout Group, in conjunction with Hesley Wood Scout Activity Centre. Six events have taken place between 2011, and 2016, all at Hesley Wood Scout Activity Centre. Funds raised from the event go towards the redevelopment of High Green Scout headquarters.

Key Times

– 5:30pm – Gates open
– 5:45pm – Bonfire Lit
– 7:30pm – Fireworks Display
– 9:00pm – Event Closes

Tickets

Tickets can be purchased online through the event website. Upon buying tickets online, one e-ticket will be emailed you for the whole of your order.

Under 18’s will require adult supervision. Ages 15 or older will require an adult ticket, ages 14 or younger will require a child ticket. Ages 12 months and under will not require a ticket.

Car Parking

Due to limited car parking, to park on site you will require a car parking pass, which can be purchased online along with event tickets. Cars can only park on site with a car parking pass.

Bonfire

Bonfire night isn’t complete without a big fire to stand around and keep warm.

Hot Food & Cake Stalls

A stall selling hot food – Burgers, Hot Dogs etc. From bonfire buns to cakes, cup-cakes, parkin and more will be available from our cake stall. All funds raised from the hot food & cake stall & hot food stall will go towards 105th’s redevelopment project.

Fireworks

We really do give a bang to the night, with a top class fireworks display, this year for the first time featuring a professional fireworks display!

Fair Ground Rides

A number of fair ground rides will be attending, providing extra entertainment for little people.

A: Don’t worry, we have a marquee providing shelter.

Q: Can I bring a dog to the event?

A: Well behaved dogs are allowed. But must remain on a lead at all times, and their mess must be cleaned up.

Q: Why do Children need to be supervised by an adult?

A: 105th High Green Scout Group are not responsible for looking after children at the event.

Q: What does the money raised go towards?

A: The redevelopment of High Green Scout Headquarters, to help sustain Scouting in North Sheffield, and for the benefit of Hesley Wood Scout activity Centre.
